Flotholt hadir sebagai ritual harapan di masa-masa sulit. Flotholt pertama kali diluncurkan pada tahun 2022 untuk merayakan Tur Dunia Sigur Rós dan dinamai sesuai dengan kata Islandia untuk cincin penyelamat bundar yang digunakan untuk menyelamatkan orang dari tenggelam. Aroma segar namun misterius ini terinspirasi oleh lautan yang tak berbatas, terutama hamparannya yang dingin, gelap, dan liar.
