The reimagined holiday classics from this collective are such a fresh take on the usual Christmas songs, and the limited edition pressing feels like a real collector’s piece. I’ve already played it twice through, and the warmth of the recordings really comes through on my turntable.
The packaging alone feels like unwrapping an Icelandic winter—the art direction is stunning. Jónsi and the collective’s reimagining of these classics is hauntingly beautiful, and the vinyl quality is superb with zero surface noise. This one’s going on repeat all December.
The crackle as the needle drops on side A is pure magic, and the collective's take on the classics feels both fresh and timeless. I've already played it twice through, and it's officially the soundtrack to my whole December.
