Sounds of Summer Vol. 1

The gatefold sleeve on this 7” is beautifully done, and the B-side feels like a warm sunset in audio form. It arrived flat and clean, and the pressing has that rich, full sound that makes limited editions worth the hunt.

This little 7" is a perfect little soundtrack for slow evenings — the press is clean and quiet between tracks, and flipping it feels like a ritual. Kjartan Holm, Sin Fang and Jónsi's voices blend so warmly together. I've already played it three times since it landed.

The B-side by Jónsi is hauntingly beautiful, and the vinyl itself feels like a proper keepsake—thick, well-pressed, and the sleeve artwork pairs perfectly with the Quarter to Five vibe. I've spun it half a dozen times already and it's exactly the moody summer soundtrack I needed.
